He is a fast-paced and dynamic academician and leader at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), with working experience in different countries and organizations. He started his career at KPMG as an auditor in 2013. He has experience as an economist at the Bank of Tanzania (BoT), a research fellow at the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD), a lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) and a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of South Africa in different capacity including internship, contract and fixed employment. His training and experience in policy analysis at the UNCTAD in Geneva, Switzerland, has equipped him with the ability to examine macroeconomic, trade and investment conditions in formulating development policies.     He gained more experience in evidence-based policy analysis through his recent PhD thesis work in the United Kingdom (UK), which assessed the influence of progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) flows in Sub-Saharan African countries. He is a lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam Business School (UDBS), covering micro and macroeconomics, development and investment banking, and international business finance. He is passionate about innovation and utilizing fresh thinking to solve economic development challenges in Tanzania and the globe at large.
